My training in ethnographic research shapes my understanding of design problems as layered and dynamic. I ask questions that get to the heart of the problem and look for patterns in how things fit, or don’t fit, together. With a discerning eye for detail, I use this perspective to help organizations and teams make thoughtful choices at the intersection of business needs and human experience.

My focus is product design, but I’ve also worked across digital and print media. Most recently, at Hinge Health, I led a unification initiative and launched the company’s first international offering. Before that, at O/M Studio, I worked with healthtech and fintech clients, including Stripe, and contributed to an inclusive design initiative inspired by Kat Holmes’ work. Earlier, I started my own freelance practice, partnering with design-minded clients such as Areaware and Dims. I have also mentored through Queer Design Club.

I studied cultural anthropology at Wesleyan, where I also explored fine art, spending a summer at RISD exploring architecture and textile design. After undergrad, I considered software engineering and took a front-end web development course at General Assembly. For my final project, I designed and built my first website, which led me to realize I wanted to focus on design. I continued my design education at UCLA and later through a bootcamp with Memorisely.
